Dr. Aker is great at explaining everything, they got me in quickly and took no shortcut finding what worked for me. Will not be going elsewhere. Front office staff were very helpful and nice as well. Also make dealing with insurance as easy as possible.

This is a wonderful, small clinic. I highly recommend. They feature local Portland glasses, were co-founded by a PSU grad, and do their best to offer low prices for college students.

I love going here to get my eyes checked! It's cheap for exams, and even cheaper for students! There's a huge selection of glasses to choose from, and they can also order glasses if you have a preference of your own. Dr. Aker is totally awesome!!

This is such a FUN eye clinic. I love the modern décor with silly cartoon toys all over the place and that it's conveniently located right in the heart of PSU on the max line. Dr. Aker and the whole staff at Visualeyes are great. Very helpful and never pushy. Dr. Aker is engaging and I appreciate that he takes the time to explain what all the tests are for. You can tell that he really cares about his practice and his patients.

The doctor and his staff are personable and professional. Very knowledgeable in their field with TONS of on-trend options for frames. They accept my VSP Insurance which really helped with the cost of the services they provide. Keep up the great work Visualeyes Team!

This place is great! I’m 19 and this was my first time being in charge of my eye care completely on my own and they made it a really great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to insurance/coverage questions and was very patient with me. Doctor Aker was super friendly and made the experience very comfortable and explained my prescription to me in a way that I could actually understand, which I have never had from an optometrist before.
